Our Lord. God, and His Spirit provide us with the desire, and the need to become as creative individuals. Not all become artists, some are endowed with more talent, skill, and intellect, along with training and education. These people may become artists.

Hi Robert . I'm agree with some concepts you did said but it did not get specific responds to the question . We all dreams we all born with sens of art some people chose whatever reason to do something else that not mean they can't do art or be creative . Remember life taught us art before school did .
Get back to the question .
What is the source it make us to be creative or to do art ?
Its not desire , its something else .

Regarding your response. I' agree with you on one things " Life is art " But life can be born from art as art can be born from life . But the question is not about that or about you and me or what art does to us .
The question is about art in general . from painting to the theater . Some people doing art for fun some don't art doesn't stop there . We need to be careful when we use a word " Should " some people are doing art as therapy some people don't . Most artists know Art is feeling it doesn't meter if its sad or happy feeling .
Art is a languages expressed . That is not the question . THE QUESTION IS WHAT PUSHES US TO DO ART ?
Its not desire period .

Born an artist, not everybody is, born with the passion, just need someone to open that door, whether you accidentally are exposed to the art of your passion or someone sees it in you and exposes you to your own passion. Clearly I am self-taught and even though I have many loves, music, mother nature, children, animals, etc. my passion is that of an artist. I firmly believe that even though many might have a creative moment during the process of their lives, artists are born artists. Just some of those are never opened to their birthright because of their environment (family/upbringing).

The first of all I like that how you thinking and I'm agree with you for all but we have a little the differences . I'm not saying we all are born artist an other word I will say we all are born with sens of art we make choices it depend the possibility society we were born . Every creation in this life is set up mathematically for some reason . In the concept of art nothing was born by accident . When thing happened we don't understand the process of that phenomenal instead saying we don't know or we don't understand yet . Accident is a word destructive its not productive . Personally ! . We must take this word out from creative art period .
2 millions years ago the Cave Man created art not by accident .

I think I agree with you Abdellah. I used to think much of my abstract art was accidental, now I know it really is not accidental. Because I know my inspirations and I know how to use my products (paint, canvas, wood, etc.) the "accidents" are just part of the process of the painting. I am very lucky. I need to look at your work.
