Jean Claude, Antoine & Jojo Marengo, and Jojo's daughter Monique are recognized as the originators of what is known today as the "Day Spa". The Marengo Institute in Beverly Hills was the first establishment in the United States that offered services never available before under one roof.
Town & Country Magazine stated, "The Marengo Institute is the only place of its kind in the United States. You'll come away with more than you bargained for".
The Marengo's were marketed in Europe as the image-makers of royalty. Jojo accepted an offer from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City to take on the position of artistic director. Saks built Marengo his own private styling suite where he received Diane Vreeland, the then senior editor of Vogue, The Duchess of Windsor, Mrs. Senator Jacob Javits, Princess Pignatelli and other women leaders of the time. Antoine accepted the position of artistic director for Elizabeth Arden on Fifth Avenue and Jean Claude replaced Kenneth at Lilli Dache the famed millinery designer. Together the three brothers were the art directors of the three most famous fashion names in the country.
The Marengos are the originators of many innovations in the beauty industry. In April 1965, they opened the first Marengo Institute in Beverly Hills. By 1984 there were 6 Marengo Institutes open in San Francisco, La Jolla, Long Beach, Dana Point and Irvine.
The Marengo introduced the first facial peel masque in the industry. The process, marketed under the name of Peel O Matique, was sold at (Saks, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom) "Women's Wear Daily" article stated, "Market sources estimate Peel O Matique gross sales to top $8 million.
"Their process works with exquisite speed, comfort and efficacy ... the results could be dazzling" says Vogue
Washington Evening Star writes "Marengo invokes the muses of beauty, medicine, and the arts"
The Marengo's spent years in Hollywood giving stars a bi-annual skin peel at $3,000 a time, Bazaar said.

The Art & Fashion Group International (A&FG). A&FG was founded by Jojo Marengo in 1984 to unite the physical enhancement artists of the world. At its height the group had over 50 chapters in the USA, representation in 25 countries in 5 continents with over 7,000 members. It produced in excess of 600 events a year (50 to 5,000 in attendance).
THESE A&FG WORLD MASTERS changed the hair industry to what it is today. They all received the World Master award in dinner ceremonies in New York or Los Angeles.

Is there any way after my book is out that I could promote it on/via WAF and if yes, what would be the procedure? It is as advise, a book on photography and poetry/short-stories, most of these my works, but including a few other SA artists.
