I've got a wild beast in my heart. I breath when he breaths. I've got a beast in my heart.
I've got a dragon of fire and he burns everything. I touch canvas and I fight against this dragon.
When I paint I'm in a trance, I don't see what I paint. At the end I see and I feel exhausted.
My dragon is my energy. My dragon is killing me. My beast burns…

Mă cuprinde dorul,

Din frontul cu pereţii aburiţi
Ies încet minerii la lumină
Cu feţele voioase, nu par obosiţi.
Râd, glumesc fără răgaz,
Nu sunt trişti, ci veseli mereu,
Au sclipiri în ochi şi-n glas,
Ca în lumină, bucăţi de minereu.
Din adâncuri, de departe,
Pe galeriile pustii acum,
Se strecoară prin a minei noapte,
Praful de la puşcături şi fum.
